COVID-19 Notice of Operations.

Shipping times may increase due to issues involving manufacturing, labor shortages, overseas raw materials delayed port entries, etc.
Our normal shipping processes would take 1-2 days from date of order.
At present, some orders may take 5-8 business days before shipments may occur.
Each order will be different as many are dropped shipped directly by each manufacturer.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

(The FREE Shipping offer is good for each order placed where the merchandise total is $75 or more. Shipping charges do not qualify for the $75 total and can not be applied towards the $75 total. The merchandise must, by itself, total over $75.  Gift Certificates are excluded from all merchandise totals because all gift certificates, regardless of their dollar amount, are not charged shipping costs.)

How Fast Do You Ship?

We use the fastest methods available via Priority Mail, USP, Fedex and DHL.  The method of shipment is based on the products ordered and the availability of each product at one of our 4 nationwide shipping locations.

We ship our orders the same day if ordered by 3pm M-F, EST.   All orders are shipped 24 business hours after approval.   You will receive an email the day your order leaves one of our facilities.  Some orders may arrive from different locations.   In each instance, you can be sure that our goal is to keep you informed during each stage of the ordering process.

With over 1500+ nature products on our website, we deal exclusively with over a dozen distributors, suppliers and dozens of manufacturers to bring you the most unique nature products.  With so many resources, we strive to maintain stock levels on all of our products.  However, manufacturers do discontinue products, styles and models change on a constant basis.  Many times, manufacturers do not communicate with retailers changes they make until product has already been ordered.  If  for any reason, we are out of stock of any item, you will be immdiately notified via email. We are not responsible for manufacturer out of stocks or discontinued items.  If your original order qualified for free shipping and an item(s) are out of stock or discontinued, your order may not qualify for free shipping over $75. We recommend a substition to qualify for the final order to qualify for the free shipping offer.  Over 99% of our items are in stock.   Restocks normally take only 4-5 business days to refill.  There may be the occasional time when a manufacturer's restock may take longer. 

Q: How do you determine shipping costs?

A:  As a consumer ourselves, we know the myriad of sites and catalog companies that you have to choose from to purchase nature products.  We also know the frustration you may experience with some sites that hide their shipping costs until the end of the ordering process or ask you to enter an address to determine shipping for each item you inquire about.  We believe this is an unnecessary inconvenience.  We use what we believe is the easiest method to help you determine your shipping costs.  We have a direct link right on our home page so there are no hidden charges or guess work.  You know up front what your costs are, no matter where you live or what product you need.  You can control all your costs by what you order.  That is why we offer FREE Shipping for all orders where the merchandise (gift certificates excluded) total is over $75.  With over 1500+ different nature products being offered and more added each month, you can do all your shopping under "one roof" with our value pricing. 

Some sites will offer FREE Shipping, but have higher prices, some have lower prices on products but add handling fees on top of shipping charges.  Some offer "lowest price guarantees".  Our response is to offer the lowest prices available without gimmicks.  Remember, we are a real retail store with over a decade of proven service and reliability.  We are not going be to here one day and gone the next.  Web-only businesses can not offer you that guarantee!! 

From time to time, we receive orders from locastions within the continental USA that are charged higher than normal shipping charges from all carriers.  We reserve the right to cancel such orders.  We can never know how much these carriers charge for destinations until orders are placed with addresses.  These high-charge destinations are rare, but do occur.  We offer free shipping, but there are limits.   You will be notified of these limits during processing.   We apologize for these inconveniences. 


Damaged Shipments

From time to time, damages beyond our control may occur during shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers. Rest assured that our decades-long superior customer service record did not occur by accident. We are here to serve you. Please, notify us immediately should you receive any product that, in your opinion, is not what you expected. We will always work with you to remedy any situation. Be it with advice, sending parts or simply exchanging damaged items, we always make sure you will be pleased you took the time to order from Wild Bird Depot.

Manufacturers Defects

If a product appears to have a manufacturers defect, contact our Customer Service department for instructions. Do not return products to us without first calling to receive instructions. This will only cause an unneccessary delay in our attempts to remedy the situation. Since we use different sources to ship our products, the fast way to receive our assistance is to follow these simple instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.

Return Merchandise Policy

Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. For questions about returning merchandise contact our Customer Service and ask for our Return Department. In order to control costs and still offer FREE Shipping, the return of non-defective merchandise, when authorized, will be charged the actual shipping costs necessary to ship the product(s) to their destination. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.
